In one paragraph
EUFactura is web-based invoicing software made by Zarnitech Capital SL (Marbella, Spain) and launched in 2026. It is built for freelancers, agencies and small businesses established in the EU that invoice customers in other EU countries or outside the EU. It suggests the VAT treatment of each invoice from a versioned rule set in which every rule cites its legal source, validates customer VAT numbers with VIES, checks the invoice against the requirements of the countries involved before it is issued, and produces numbered PDF invoices and UBL (EN 16931) e-invoice files. Tax returns and reporting to the authorities stay with your accountant: EUFactura hands over each month as one ZIP with a spreadsheet, every PDF and the e-invoice files.
What it does
- Suggests the VAT treatment (domestic rate, reverse charge, exempt intra-Community supply, export, outside scope) with the legal basis shown; the user confirms it. Cases the rules do not cover are flagged for review, never guessed.
- Validates EU VAT numbers against VIES and stores the evidence with the customer.
- Reviews each invoice before issuing: mandatory content, numbering, dates, arithmetic, reverse-charge wording, and the seller's and buyer's country requirements.
- Issues invoices with a legal sequential number. Issued invoices cannot be edited; corrections are made with credit notes.
- Produces PDF invoices in 22 languages and UBL (EN 16931) XML files. The mandatory VAT mentions are available in all 24 official EU languages.
- Quotes that convert to invoices, recurring invoices, payment reminders, card payments through Stripe, a customer portal and public invoice links.
- Accountant access, import of historical invoices, a monthly archive export (CSV, Excel, PDFs and XML), an AI assistant that drafts invoices and quotes from plain language, a REST API and webhooks.
Plans and prices
- Free: EUR 0. One company, up to 5 invoices a month, VAT suggestions, VIES checks, company registry lookup, PDF and XML.
- Solo: EUR 9 a month or EUR 90 a year. One company, up to 25 invoices a month. Adds credit notes, quotes, recurring invoices, payment reminders, online payments, the AI assistant and accountant access.
- Business: EUR 29 a month or EUR 290 a year. Up to 5 companies, unlimited invoices. Adds import of historical invoices.
- Scale: EUR 129 a month or EUR 1,290 a year. Unlimited companies and invoices. Adds API access and webhooks.
Languages and coverage
- Interface in English, Spanish, French, German, Czech, Italian and Polish.
- VAT rules: the domestic standard rate for each of the 27 Member States, and EU-level rules for B2B services (reverse charge), intra-Community supplies of goods, exports and services to businesses outside the EU.
- Country checks: a profile for each of the 27 Member States, every fact tied to an official source. Where a country's official text has not yet been verified, the app says so instead of guessing.
- Seller companies can be established in any EU Member State, and no country is the product's home market. Where a country's rules have been verified in more depth, its invoices get more checks.
What it does not do
- It is not accounting or bookkeeping software: no ledger, no bank reconciliation, no tax returns.
- It does not connect to national tax systems: it is not VERI*FACTU (SIF) software for Spain, and it does not issue through Italy's SdI or Poland's KSeF. If your country requires invoices to be issued or reported through such a system, you need a tool for that alongside EUFactura. The invoice review tells you when one applies.
- It does not transmit invoices to Peppol or to national platforms (SdI, KSeF, Chorus Pro). It produces the UBL file for your accountant or another provider to send.
- Special VAT schemes (margin scheme, OSS reporting, domestic reverse charge for construction and similar) are flagged for review rather than decided.
- It checks invoices against sourced rules. It does not certify that an invoice is compliant, and nothing in it is tax advice.
Data and security
- The primary database is hosted in the EU (Ireland). Some subprocessors, notably Stripe for payments and Anthropic for the AI assistant, process data in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses. The full list is on the subprocessors page.
- Each organisation's data is isolated at database level. Analytics are cookieless. Data export and account deletion are built in.
Free tools, API and machine-readable files
- Invoice checker: upload a PDF, image or XML invoice and get it reviewed against EU and country rules, without an account.
- Late-payment interest calculator: statutory interest under Directive 2011/7/EU with the live ECB reference rate.
- REST API v1 with an OpenAPI 3.1 description at https://eufactura.eu/openapi.yaml, and a summary for AI assistants at https://eufactura.eu/llms.txt.

Frequently asked questions
- Is EUFactura free?
- There is a free plan with one company and up to 5 invoices a month. Paid plans start at EUR 9 a month.
- Is EUFactura a VERI*FACTU system?
- No. It is not registered SIF software and does not submit records to the Spanish tax agency. EUFactura is a general EU invoicing tool and does not connect to national tax systems; the VERI*FACTU page explains what Spanish businesses in scope need to plan for.
- Which countries does it work for?
- The seller can be established in any of the 27 EU Member States, and customers can be anywhere. Country-specific checks exist for all 27.
- Does it replace an accountant or accounting software?
- No. It issues and manages invoices. Books, tax returns and bank reconciliation stay with your accountant or accounting software; exports and accountant access are there to hand the data over.
