EUFactura and Quipu: which one fits which job

Quipu and EUFactura both issue invoices. What surrounds the invoice is where they part ways.

What Quipu is

Quipu describes itself as invoicing software for freelancers, companies and advisory firms in Spain: invoices, treasury and cash-flow forecasts, automatic bank reconciliation, tax forms generated automatically, document digitisation and an AI assistant. Its site states that it is already adapted to VERI*FACTU. The interface is offered in Spanish, English, Catalan and French (read 17 September 2026).

When Quipu is the better choice

• You are a freelancer or company in Spain and want your quarterly tax forms prepared from your invoices and expenses.
• You want bank reconciliation and expense capture in the same tool, or you work with an advisory firm that already uses Quipu.
• You need VERI*FACTU-adapted software. EUFactura is not VERI*FACTU software.

When EUFactura is the better choice

• Your customers are in other EU countries and you want the VAT treatment suggested with its legal basis, the VAT number validated in VIES and the mandatory wording added in the customer's language.
• You want every invoice reviewed against the buyer's country as well as Spain before it is issued.
• Your company is not Spanish: EUFactura works for sellers established in any EU Member State, with the interface in seven languages.
• You need UBL (EN 16931) files, an API or webhooks.

Prices at a glance

• Quipu: Starter EUR 17, Solution EUR 30 and Premium EUR 59 a month at regular price, with an introductory discount advertised (read 17 September 2026).
• EUFactura: Free (5 invoices a month), Solo EUR 9, Business EUR 29, Scale EUR 129 a month.
